Black Lives Matter Went To Hoboken Artists Studio Tour

And on this day finds itself as Occupy Wall Street Day 1,000 and something, and Occupy Wall Street is still moving fast.  And Black Lives Matter, that all things police brutality and beyond movement, is still moving fast also. And in between reading the headline news of the day, Occupy Art, well #blacklivesmatter, went to Monroe Center for the Arts as part of that Hoboken Artists Studio Tour the other day, November 8th, 2015 for that city-wide, self - guided walking tour of artists studios, galleries and group exhibitions featuring the work of over 100 local artists in that city of Hoboken to be found in that state of New Jersey.. And every picture tells a story, I think, as in those photos of that #BlackLivesMatter @ Hoboken Artists Studio Tour that find themselves posted above. And again, whether or not Occupy Art will find itself at another Occupy Art Show remains to be seen. No one is free when others are oppressed. Is another world possible.

#BlackLivesMatter @ Hoboken Artists Studio Tour

And on this day finds itself as Occupy Wall Street day one thousand and something. And Occupy Wall Street is still moving fast, well sort of.  And Black Lives Matter, that all things police brutality and beyond movement, is still moving fast also. Well #BlackLivesMatter is going to Hoboken Artists Studio Tour in that city of Hoboken to be found in that state of New Jersey to be found in that country of North America. And actually Occupy Art has found itself at that Hoboken Artists Studio Tour in times past as well. And that Occupy Art Show thought it was going to Newark Open Doors a few weeks ago when Occupy Art Went To Newark Open Doors, well sort of, with an incomplete Occupy Art Show that was no longer that Occupy Art Show that was hoped for. And so back to that Black Lives Matter exhibit at Hoboken Artists Studio Tour.  And that #BlackLivesMatter @ Hoboken Artists Studio Tour Facebook event invite for that exhibit reads something like:

Hi everyone,

I will be showing photos from various Black Lives Matter protests throughout the NYC area as well as Black Lives Matter artwork and posters I have created as part of this years Hoboken Artists Studio Tour. This exhibit is inspired by the Black Lives Matter movements to discuss, expand scope, perspective and inspiration towards an ongoing series of future culture jams and events around this theme and time.

Please visit this Black Lives Matter exhibit during the Hoboken Artists Studio Tour if you happen to be in the neighborhood, Sunday, November 8th, 12 - 6pm at Monroe Art Center, 720 Monroe Street, C - 502, fifth floor, Hoboken, New Jersey.

I will also have artwork on display at Monroe Art Center as part of the hob' art Gallery group show, "Color Line Form ", currently on display in room E208 that will be open during Hoboken Artists Studio Tour hours also. "Color Line Form " exhibit is hob'art Gallery's third group art show of the year

Hoboken Artists Studio Tour is a free city-wide self-guided walking tour of artists studios, galleries and group exhibitions featuring the work of over 100 local artists.

Free Tour map can be picked up at Hoboken City Hall, on the day of the tour.
