An Occupy 9/11 Art Show





Hey again bloggers or whoever could be reading this blog. And it's been a while since I last signed into this blog to blog about some Occupy Art Show that has been drummed up in that city of New York. And so Exavier tells me that he is doing a 9/11 Cultural Festival in that city of New York, and for whatever reason, an Occupy 9/11 Art Show has somehow found itself as attempting to be a part of this festival.  And I know that Occupy 9/11 Art Show somehow finds itself as part of that 9/11 Cultural Festival event because Exavier and that Occupy 9/11 Art Show Facebook event invite that I just created says so, i think.... And today finds itself as Occupy Wall Street Day 1073. And Occupy Wall Street is still moving fast, well sort of. And that Occupy 9/11 Art Show Facebook event invite reads something like as follows:

The 9/11 Cultural Festival will be having an Occupy 9/11 Art Show at First Street Green Park as part of the 9/11 Cultural Festival 9/11-9/14 in New York City

The 9/11 Cultural Festival is seeking artists with 9/11 tribute inspired artwork to display artwork and perform at The First Street Green Park, 9/11 - 9/14, 1pm - 5pm, New York City as part of the 9/11 Cultural Festival.

We are seeking artists, musicians and performers that send a message of hope, unity and healing

We are open to any art and performance that may or may not be inspired by 9/11 and we will be encouraging dialogue about 9/11.

The 9/11 Cultural Festival is a festival for peace in which an honest dialogue about 9/11 is encouraged through the arts, theatre, dance, music, poetry and the visual arts and crafts. Artists will be performing independent, original plays, music, dances, and poetry reading to commemorate the 9/11 tragedy.

The 9/11 Cultural Festival will take place 8/16 & 9/11 - 9/14 in New York City at The Playroom

Theater, Medicine Show Theatre, First Street Green Park and Bowery Poetry Club. There will be a Script in Hand Reading Series and an Occupy 911 Art Show as part of the event. The World Premiere of a new play "Gaza Emergency Pageant" by Bread and Puppet Theater Company will be the featured event.
