Black Lives Matter Went To Make Music New York

And so I found myself at another one of those Black Lives Matter Art Show, well this time Black Lives Matter Show events just yesterday in that City of New York.  And this time it was Black Lives Matter went to Make Music New York @ Andrew Freedman Home, then @ Orchard Alley Community Garden, then to Prospect Place PlayHouse as part of that Black Lives Matter Show as part of Make Music New York on this day.  Well, it's sort of like there was an attempt to take a few posters and banners with those "Your Thoughts On Black Lives Matter" statements written all over them and those DecorForU #blacklivesmatter, #berniesanders, #occupywallstreet and #nopolicestate necklaces, magnets and key chains to vend for $1 each somewhere in between at this event.  And in between singing that No Police State song at these places I found myself at, the highlight, well one of the highlights of that day seemed to be Gbenga Akinnagbe who played the part of Chris Partlow, I think as a junkie, as I was told..., in that TV Series, The Wire, signing that Black Lives Matter banner to share those thoughts on Black Lives Matter to where I took that all things The Wire, Law and Order drama series spin offs and more opportunity to take a photo of this actor in front of one of those Your Thoughts On Black Lives Matter banners throughout my travels on this day.  And so that Black Lives Matter Facebook event invite read something like as follows:

The Black Lives Matter Show is inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement to discuss, expand scope, perspective and inspiration towards an ongoing series of future culture jams and events around this theme and time.

Make Music New York is a live, free musical celebration on June 21, the longest day of the year, with over 1,200 concerts on streets, sidewalks, and parks across the five boroughs.
